1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Keepora mobile application and related services provided by InnoxSofty ("we", "us"). By installing or using Keepora you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.
2. Licence to use Keepora
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Keepora on devices you own or control, for your own personal and non-commercial use.
You may not:
- Copy, redistribute, sell or sublicense the app
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded
- Remove or obscure any proprietary notices
- Circumvent licensing, entitlement or advertising controls
- Use the app to build or train a competing product
3. Accounts and devices
Keepora works without an account. An optional device registration exists so that a Pro or Lifetime entitlement can be verified and restored. You are responsible for keeping your device, PIN and biometric unlock secure.
If you sign in to a third-party cloud provider to enable backups, you are responsible for that account and bound by that provider's own terms.
4. Your data is your responsibility
Keepora stores your records locally on your device. We do not hold a copy, and we cannot retrieve your data for you.
You are solely responsible for maintaining backups. If your device is lost, damaged, reset or uninstalled, or if you forget your backup passphrase, your data cannot be recovered by us or by anyone else. We strongly recommend enabling encrypted backup as soon as you start using Keepora.
You confirm that you have the right to store any document or information you add to Keepora, and that doing so does not infringe anyone else's rights or breach any law.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
- Keepora offers a free tier, an annual Pro subscription, and a one-time Lifetime purchase.
- All purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We never receive or store your payment details.
- Pro renews automatically each year at the then-current price until you cancel. Cancel any time in your Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Lifetime is a single payment that grants Pro features without recurring renewal, for as long as the app is offered.
- Prices are shown inclusive or exclusive of tax according to your region, and may change. Price changes never apply retroactively to an already-paid period.
- If a purchase cannot be verified, premium features may revert to the free tier until verification succeeds.
6. Refunds
Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy, which governs eligibility and timing. Where you have a statutory right to cancel or obtain a refund under your local consumer law, that right is unaffected by these Terms. For issues Google Play cannot resolve, contact support@keepora.app.
7. Advertising
The free tier is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. Advertisers do not receive access to your documents or records. Purchasing Pro or Lifetime removes advertising from the app.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Keepora to:
- Store or distribute unlawful material
- Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our control service or disrupt it
- Probe, scan or test the security of our systems without written permission
- Interfere with another user's use of the app
9. Availability and changes
Keepora's core features are designed to work offline and do not depend on our servers. Online elements — licence verification, update notices, remote configuration, announcements and advertising — may be unavailable from time to time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of those parts.
We may add, change or remove features, and may discontinue the app or any part of it. Where a change materially reduces a paid feature you have already purchased, we will give reasonable notice.
10. Intellectual property
Keepora, the Keepora name and logo, and all software, design and content we provide are owned by InnoxSofty and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms grant you a licence to use the app, not ownership of it.
The content you add to Keepora remains entirely yours. We claim no rights over it and, by design, never receive it.
11. Disclaimer
Keepora is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Keepora is an organisational tool. Reminders depend on your device's clock, power state, notification settings and operating-system restrictions. It is not a guarantee that you will be notified of any deadline, and it is not a substitute for legal, financial, insurance or tax advice. Always verify critical dates with the issuing authority.
OCR is automated and may misread text. You are responsible for checking any extracted information before relying on it.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, nor for loss of data, loss of profit, or any missed deadline, expiry or renewal, arising from your use of or inability to use Keepora.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Keepora in the twelve months before the claim, or INR 1,000.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
13. Termination
You may stop using Keepora at any time by uninstalling it — which also deletes the local database, so export a backup first if you want to keep your records.
We may suspend or terminate your licence if you materially breach these Terms, in particular the acceptable-use and licensing restrictions. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — intellectual property, disclaimer, liability and governing law — continue to apply.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you retain the benefit of any mandatory protections of your local law, and may bring proceedings in your local courts where that right cannot be excluded.
